Job Summary / Purpose:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering safe, competent, and person-centered nursing care to clients in their homes, in accordance with policies and procedures, the client's individualized care plan, physician’s orders, and the standards of practice set by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). The LPN collaborates closely with the care team and plays a critical role in supporting health, independence, and quality of life for clients.

Qualification:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be licensed and in good standing with the CLPNA, demonstrate the ability to carry out nursing responsibilities in alignment with legislation, professional standards, and agency policies, and successfully complete all required orientation and training, and demonstrate ongoing competency.
